Humble Beginnings

Old Wood Delaware, LLC is a full-service specialty wood flooring, furniture and millwork manufacturer based in Queen Anne, MD. Over 35 years ago we purchased an old lumber mill from the 1930’s in a one-stop light town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Today, that old Sawmill is a 40,000-square-foot warehouse and production facility filled with some of the industry’s most advanced equipment geared toward manufacturing specialty wood products from reclaimed wood and other sustainably sourced forestry products. In the early days, we only sold reclaimed flooring to distributors and flooring dealers, however, by 2000 we began making furniture, doors, beams, and othermillwork to complement our flooring products. We work with some of the most discerning designers, architects, and custom home builders to deliver a unique product you can’t find from a distributor or in a retail store. Over the years our suite of products has transformed to adapt to a changing market, but our core focus and mission have remained the same. Old Wood’s mission has always been to offer a quality manufactured in the United States. We have invested heavily in our manufacturing process and equipment. Advances in manufacturing and machining technology have enabled us to increase our capacity while maintaining the flexibility of a custom wood shop. We want to deliver value to you by offering a unique and personalized set of products that cater to your client’s tastes and needs at a competitive price.
